Our Mission
Count is a magazine about the future of democracy, its transformations, and its challenges. We spotlight individuals and groups engaged in—and thinking of new ways to do—democratic politics.
During the current super-election year, more than 40 per cent of the world’s population heads to the polls. Yet a rising authoritarianism has fuelled fears that democracy is in decline.
Count Magazine aims to motivate young people to engage directly in democratic processes by making political discourse accessible and highlighting civic action.
With democracy at risk globally, your voice and vote count.
